The Cloaked Man continued on, informing the King that when he returned to his castle he would find it filled with subjects. The figure revealed that he also had one more surprise in store for the King, and another figure emerged from the Cave. This time it was a woman. The Cloaked Man explained that she was to be his Queen, and that she would rule forever by his side so long as he lived. The Cloaked man started to become visibly unsettled, and explained that the King’s ascent had angered the Dragon, and that the King must return to his castle now, because he could no longer guarantee their safety. He explained that if they followed the cave it would lead them to a secret passage back into the castle. And so they descended into the cave. Much like his first trip through the tunnel, it seemed to take no time at all to return to the castle.
Once they returned the King and Queen instantly fell in love and shortly after they conceived their first son. He was a precocious young lad. Always sneaking along on adventures with his father, and getting into trouble around the Castle. Every one of the Kings subjects loved the Prince, but few of them believed that he would have what it took to one day rule in place of the King. In his teenage years he developed a temper and could be set off by a single word. He constantly quarreled with his mother and father, and walked around with a sour look on his face.
Though despite all of his recklessness the King found it in his heart to bestow upon the Prince the only thing he ever truly wanted. On his 18th birthday the King knighted him as a sworn sword of his Immortal Army, but there was no time for revelry. For as soon as the Prince had finished reciting the oath of the Immortal, the doors to the throne room exploded open. In the doorway stood a knight clad head to toe in the darkest blackest armor any of them had ever seen. Even more frightening was his horse, because you see, he was mounted atop the Black Unicorn, the most powerful creature in the known lands. The Dark Rider raised his arm and entered the throne room pointing his pure black lance directly at the Prince.
